May minutes read and corrected motions by Dawn and Ann. Minutes accepted.
June meeting was a talk by Maggie Stier.
MP chapter is almost done. We're having some issues with the charts and formatting.
Mary Kate Ryan has helped us with this. She helped us re-write some of our goals and visions so we can present it to the Planning Board.
Members read the new MP rewrite.
We would like to present our Master Plan chapter to the Planning Board in September.
Check with Ruth about "town" being capitalized.
Charrette Meeting:
Talked about where to go from here. How can we make a beginning, a start?
We would like to start at the Grange Hall and landscaping.
We will look into grants and ways to fund this project.
Historic Building Signage:
Library and Grange Hall. It would identify the history of the building and a few interesting facts. Should they be wooden or metal? We will continue this discussion at our next meeting.
Maintenance of planting sites:
Library site is very weedy.
Trees on Canterbury Rd need to be trimmed back. We will get together to do this.
Garden Tour is Saturday and Sunday July 25 & 26. There is also a Farmers Market from 10-2 on those days.
